Hilarious Puppet and Magic Shows for Libraries! It's All About the Fun and Power of Reading!
Summer Reading Program 2017!
“And To Think That I Learned It From Dr. Seuss!”
San Antonio based children’s entertainer, David Pitts, a.k.a “The Astonishing Mr. Pitts”, was practically raised in a library! His mother was a librarian in Amarillo, Tx for many years, and she introduced David to the wonders of reading and the library at a very young age. Mr. Pitts has been a lifelong fan of books and the library, and spent many happy summers participating the Library Reading Club Program as a child. He brings his genuine love and enthusiasm for reading, books, and the library to all his shows!
For 2017 we have created a new reading show called “And To Think That I Learned It From Dr. Seuss!”, a comedy magic, ventriloquism and cartooning show about the life, work and genius of Theodore Seuss Geisel, known to the world as Dr. Seuss!
This presentation is 45 minutes in length, and it includes magic, music, funny puppet characters, cartooning and lots of comedy and audience participation.

Mr. Pitts came and gave two back to back presentations for us, one for elementary age and the second one was for all members of the family. He responded to the audience, got them interacting and made the children laugh. I think he did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him!

I just wanted to let you know that you did an OUTSTANDING JOB with our little ones. The teachers all had positive things to say about your performance. I am definitely going to invite you back!
